ROSE Healing Room Testimonies

On Thursday, March 26th, 2009, I came to the Rose of Sharon Healing Room for prayer. I had several specific prayer requests. One of the things I need prayer for was "sickness." I got really sick a month and a half ago and never got over it. I had what seemed like "chest congestion". I had went back to the doctor and she gave me more antibiotics, but it didn't help. It felt like pressure on my airways, almost like a squeezing. I felt like I couldn't breathe easy and wasn't getting a full breath of air when I breathed. This was very unusual, because normally I am very healthy. After I was prayed for, that thing broke off of me! I still felt a little bit of the symptoms the whole rest of the day, but I knew the prayer worked. One thing the ladies told me to do was take communion. I hadn't had a chance to do that, since I was traveling out of town right after I saw them. I did however remember about 2:00 a.m. in the morning, and I got up and took communion. I have NOT felt that pressure since and I can BREATHE EASY!!! Praise God!!!

There were several other specific things that were prayed about, some I didn't even think about until they were praying. Sickness was broken off of me, a lot of repentance and healing. One thing that was prayed was "Today is the day of New Beginnings. Expect it even in this very day, you will see it!" That was very encouraging! As I was leaving, they declared over me "safe passage" and prayed that I would have a safe trip. Well, I was driving back to Florida that same day and all was going well. I was just praying and thanking God the whole way. As I was driving over the Texas Bridge in Shreveport, by the Casinos...BOOM!!!! The traffic stopped on the lower part of the bridge and I couldn't see it until I was right upon it. I tried to stop, but I slid right into the back of a Porsche! Yes, A PORSCHE! But, GOD IS SO GOOD! My 12 year old son and I walked out of that accident without a scratch! The other people in the Porsche were ok as well. This was definitely not in my plans for that day to crash my car. I am so thankful that I came for prayer before I left! God really protected us, I know it could have been SO MUCH WORSE!

I said Goodbye to my car in Shreveport on Friday. But, God has a way of working things out for our good. I had a loan of almost $10,000 on that car. It was beautiful, but it was going to take me years to pay it off. I had really wanted to get out from under that loan for awhile, but just didn't know how I could. That very next day, my insurance company issued a check for the entire amount of my loan. No, I do not have a car, but I also do not have a huge loan anymore and ALL is paid! I know that God will provide for me a new car without a loan in the right time! God is good!

Now, get this!!! My husband was kind of looking through the internet on Saturday, after the long drive home from Shreveport. He ran across a car that he was interested in and called on it. While on the phone with this man, somehow the subject of construction came up in the conversation. So when he went up to look at the car, he grabbed a copy of his resume. An hour later he came back with a job! He starts Monday! This was such an answered prayer! My husband has been out of work for about 10 months and hadn't had any prospects of getting a job, and all of a sudden, he has a job! I am still amazed!

This really is a day of New Beginnings! God has ways of bringing good out of bad situations! God does answer prayers and HE IS REAL!!!
